Step 1
Eligibility to Work as a Nurse in Australia
- You must hold a recognized nursing qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- You must be registered as a nurse in your home country.
Step 2
English Language Test Requirement
- You need to take an approved English language test like IELTS, OET, or PTE.

Points Calculation for Permanent Residency (PR)
- You need to calculate your points based on age, work experience, English proficiency, education, and potential state nomination.

Expression of Interest (EOI) Submission
- You must log into SkillSelect and submit your Expression of Interest (EOI).
Step 8
Receiving an Invitation to Apply for a Visa
- You must apply for your PR visa within 60 days of receiving the invitation.
Step 9
Preparing for Medical and Police Checks
- You need to gather all required documents for character clearance and health examinations.
Step 10
Receiving the Permanent Residency (PR) Visa Grant
- Once all checks and assessments are successfully completed, you will receive your PR visa grant.
